Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tafalla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tirso Isasaga in the 81st minute of play. Şota Arveladze scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dante Lacasa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 88th minute, Luca Rouco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şota Arveladze took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Olympique Gdynia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
