Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Benedicto Naelio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Poland's Tolek Kiszkiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Naelio in the 3rd minute of play. The corner led Poland's Izydor Plucinik to fire away a dangerous shot which Lev Yashin despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Lev Yashin made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Witomir Jestrimski sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute, Tadeusz Raschke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 22 played minutes, Poland's Harry Maguire shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lev Yashin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Poland reached it. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Tadeusz Raschke took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Lev Yashin to make any attempt to save it. After some careless play in the Poland defense, Benedicto Naelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tolek Kiszkiel. The Poland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tolek Kiszkiel should have stopped the shot. Argentina's attentive Gregorio Urtsin managed to snatch the ball when Pawel Dawidowicz made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Benedicto Naelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolek Kiszkiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute of the match Argentina got a corner. Poland's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gregorio Urtsin ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Argentina's Lev Yashin got control of the ball when Witomir Jestrimski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lev Yashin had great luck who in the 41stth minute grab hold of the ball when Witomir Jestrimski from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Argentina's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Maguire was slow to take the kick. During this time Poland's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Poland's Leonard Winszman getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tolek Kiszkiel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedicto Naelio in the 45th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeusz Raschke to strike the kick off in the second half. Izydor Plucinik kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Lev Yashin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Plucinik in the 61st minute of the match. Tadeusz Raschke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Argentina made a substitution. Armando Felipillo replaced Abelardo Perutxo. Argentina's Amado Arotza was substituted for Benedicto Naelio. Tolek Kiszkiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Arotza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Yashin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Izydor Plucinik in the 69th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Poland got a freekick which was hit by Iwan Kasiewski. 81 minutes into the match, Argentina's Amado Arotza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tolek Kiszkiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lev Yashin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Raschke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lev Yashin came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Poland's Tadeusz Raschke. But to his dismay, Tadeusz Raschke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Amado Arotza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Poland were the better team. Poland's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
