Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reinaldo Briceño was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaldo Briceño in the 35th minute. In the 39th minute, Reinaldo Briceño left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFC Viola Gigliati fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Rolado Rosell hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reinaldo Briceño was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinaldo Briceño's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Waldir Velaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lautaro Navarro was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With his leg Min Ordoña managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Edmundo Espiga, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 68 played minutes AFC Viola Gigliati got a freekick which was hit by Garin Candina. A collision led to AFC Viola Gigliati getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Garin Candina hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Sebastian Villa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of AFC Viola Gigliati's Min Ordoña. Min Ordoña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honduras's Edmundo Espiga quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Elorri Palmer, made in the 82nd minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, AFC Viola Gigliati's goalkeeper Min Ordoña had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastian Villa. 87 minutes into the game, Cosme Fole threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 88th minute of the game Elorri Palmer made a throw-in which Samuel Horduña played forward. In the 89th minute Reinaldo Briceño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Briceño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute, Rolado Rosell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
