In the 24th minute of the game, Iker Llorienzo landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Valentín Carvallo's late challenge caught a Temperley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valentín Carvallo helped the player get up and apologised. Temperley made a substitution. Gualterio Lopez replaced Iker Llorienzo. Ildefonso Richie came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lautaro Navarro could save by the left post. Temperley's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kaapo Mastropiero in the 28th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Temperley's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Villa came free, but Pedro Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Villa charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastian Villa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 38 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Villa. With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Ildefonso Richie tried to sneak it across the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Nereo Medero in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. The supporters of Honduras booed when Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nereo Medero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Temperley's Pedro Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 47th minute of play.

The wind increased when Edmundo Espiga made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Honduras got a freekick which was hit by Milagros Cabal. Kaapo Mastropiero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. The supporters of Temperley booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Illart came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nereo Medero hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Walme in the 80th minute of play. Candido Tonete charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 81st match minute, Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Tonete to maneuver through the defense. Honduras's Christian Sancho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Leopoldo Quintan, made in the 87th minute of the game. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Walme in the 90th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the game, Gilberto Illart threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Luca Espinar quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Pedro Eudoxio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 95th minute of the match.
