Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jaime Pardo made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gildo Furtado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Primitivo Escribano fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Primitivo Escribano a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Primitivo Escribano. Alan Campos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the match, Maicon Arruda notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Paraguay's Jacobo Nores. Jacobo Nores was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gerson Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. The supporters of America FC booed when Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute, Maicon Arruda made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After 24 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Xavier Zoido. Jacobo Nores made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maicon Arruda in the 27th minute. In the 31st minute, Xavier Zoido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuri Lopez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jacobo Nores came out and tried to block the shot, but Yuri Lopez slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 32nd minute. Jacobo Nores made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Maicon Arruda sent off a good shot on target. Jonas Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Paraguay from getting a goal against them. When Jaime Pardo came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Paraguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaime Pardo couldn't finish the play. The America FC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when America FC's Maicon Arruda looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maicon Arruda to make the kick off. After 54 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Alan Campos. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Dracena in the 55th minute of play. Jacobo Nores stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maicon Arruda's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 62 minutes of play, America FC's Jonas Dracena made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacobo Nores was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonas Dracena in the 64th minute of play. Jonas Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th match minute, Paraguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Primitivo Escribano to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Dracena in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Nores prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maicon Arruda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind America FC's goalkeeper Gildo Furtado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jacobo Nores showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Dracena in the 83rd minute of the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Arruda, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 88th minute, Maicon Arruda made a precise shot to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. If Maicon Arruda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Yuri Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yuri Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. America FC had won after a very even match.
