Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cassius Byrne took the kick off in the first half of the match. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Monty Rogers, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Blomkvist in the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Monty Rogers left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The USA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 21 minutes into the game, Edward Mcdonald cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nicasio Abad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Monty Rogers came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the USA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monty Rogers couldn't finish the play. When Peter Blomkvist came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ fans jumped to their feet. In the 29th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicasio Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 29th minute of play. USA were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Nicasio Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cassius Byrne in the 31st minute of play. Marco Day came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Elvio Frances. But to his dismay, Elvio Frances quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Monty Rogers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nicasio Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Frances. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elvio Frances made a kick off. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Blomkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cassius Byrne could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Nicasio Abad made a huge save. Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 60th minute of the match. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Pietro Salles was substituted for Peter Blomkvist. In the 67th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Demircioğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Ahmet Demircioğlu to fire away a dangerous shot which Marco Day despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, USA's goal looked a bit too open when Pietro Salles came free, but Marco Day reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Saturno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Marco Day tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Day made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pietro Salles in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s goalkeeper Nicasio Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam Campbell. In the 87th minute Pietro Salles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Pietro Salles made a precise shot to the right of Marco Day. USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After 96 minutes of play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Sergio Saturno made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marco Day was left in no man's land by his defense there!
