An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Kampinos Laski's goalkeeper Roman Pietrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Julio Vera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 14 minutes into the match, Kampinos Laski's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Roman Pietrasz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szczepan Kasperowicz got free with Julio Vera in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Andino hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 21 minutes into the match, Szczepan Kasperowicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Szczepan Kasperowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chairil Pelani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chairil Pelani in the 50th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kampinos Laski's zone, Felix Montenegro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Pietrasz came out of the goal and Felix Montenegro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Kampinos Laski's goalkeeper Roman Pietrasz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luis Andino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Kampinos Laski's Roman Pietrasz got control of the ball when Felix Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kampinos Laski's Roman Pietrasz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Kampinos Laski from getting a goal against them. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal.
