With a little luck, Honduras's Lautaro Navarro got control of the ball when Kalju Palk tried to sneak it across the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Tapa Athlétic™'s Gheorghiţă Hagi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 26 played minutes Tapa Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by Kalju Palk. Heigo Mustkivi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mugurel Chiriloaie didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 29th minute. Tapa Athlétic™'s supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Vahur Nirk came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Tapa Athlétic™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vahur Nirk couldn't finish the play. Hando Laaneoks made in the 35th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gheorghiţă Hagi however managed to control. Mugurel Chiriloaie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Samuel Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 54th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Chiriloaie in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lautaro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 60th match minute, Tapa Athlétic™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Chiriloaie to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 67th minute, Mugurel Chiriloaie got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tapa Athlétic™ made a substitution. August Uibo replaced Kalju Palk. 72 minutes into the game, Samuel Cordarell threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 72nd minute of play. Lautaro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahur Nirk in the 77th minute of play. After 79 played minutes Tapa Athlétic™ got a freekick which was hit by Kara Teka. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Gheorghiţă Hagi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapa Athlétic™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gheorghiţă Hagi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mugurel Chiriloaie, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 84th minute, Sebastian Villa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Tapa Athlétic™ getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. August Uibo hit a great ball. The throw-in from Herbert Rakke in the 95th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tapa Athlétic™ fully deserved thier win.
