Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Zafer Yalçıner started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Zafer Yalçıners short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Francisco Seco came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Uruguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Seco couldn't finish the play. Zafer Yalçıner's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Joaquin Gayoso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Zafer Yalçıner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 狄雄鸿 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zafer Yalçıner who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Joaquin Gayoso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Cazalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 狄雄鸿 having to interfere. The supporters of Uruguay booed when Capivara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramone Cabrini didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 41st minute of play forced Capivara's goalkeeper 狄雄鸿 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Leandro Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Leandro Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Bruno Beldad hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 狄雄鸿 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute, Uruguay's Camilo Covarrubias seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Covarrubias the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uruguay protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Covarrubias had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Capivara:s goal. Joaquin Gayoso had in the 63rdth minute some difficulties stopping Renan Urbano's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 67th minute, Alberto Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zafer Yalçıner in the 73rd minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with 狄雄鸿 in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Sainz to maneuver through the defense. Leandro Cosme struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Capivara had won after a very even match.
