Julio Vera stood somewhat misplaced when Adam Bareiro came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 41 minute. Feliks Osowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Daniel Zorita to strike the kick off in the second half. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliks Osowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. Feliks Osowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adam Bareiro's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Internet XAire's goalkeeper Feliks Osowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Internet XAire. 69 minutes into the match, Internet XAire's goalkeeper Feliks Osowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. In the 70th minute, Nacho Villarroel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Feliks Osowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 76th minute of the match. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Internet XAire was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Internet XAire were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
