In the 35th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Macos Graciani to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Feliks Osowski. Internet XAire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Adam Bareiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Feliks Osowski in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Bareiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Victorio Perico's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Feliks Osowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Facundo Cadaval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliks Osowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 76th minute of play. Feliks Osowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the match, Luca Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Internet XAire's Feliks Osowski.
