The referee ignored Navigators's protests and gave Atacan Erdemli a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, Navigators was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atacan Erdemli to maneuver through the defense. After 16 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 48th minute, Francisco Carballar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yavuz Bülent Akbatu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Alan Tamayo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Yavuz Bülent Akbatu made a huge save. Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Navigators from getting a goal against them. In the 75th minute, Yu Ke Hui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Navigators's Ahmet Malik was substituted for Kostas Kelaidonis. Navigators's Zeynel Üke was substituted for Atacan Erdemli. Navigators's Yavuz Bülent Akbatu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Navigators from getting a goal against them.
