Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Axel Tasis kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Tadeusz Siekierka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Roland Banaszak scored 2-0 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Siekierka in the 13th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes Costa Rica's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Karol Gendolla who took care of the corner kick. In the 16th minute, Antoni Bubczyk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Antoni Bubczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Antoni Bubczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 20 minutes, Axel Tasis made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Saxon's Gustaw Lech tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Carballo charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abel Carballo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 24th play minutes Tadeusz Siekierka shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Benito Sanz and just under the crossbar into goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylwester Bejrut in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Tadeusz Siekierka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoni Bubczyk in the 34th minute of play. When Alexander Carballo fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alexander Carballo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Saxon getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Roland Banaszak hit a great ball. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Siekierka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. When Karol Gendolla came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the FC Saxon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Gendolla couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Siekierka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roland Banaszak in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sylwester Bejrut went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Banaszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Roland Banaszak notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Bubczyk in the 67th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Banaszak came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Tadeusz Siekierka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes FC Saxon got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Bubczyk. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeusz Siekierka in the 86th minute of play. In the 95th minute Sylwester Bejrut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Siekierka in the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that FC Saxon were the better team. FC Saxon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
