Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Joel Gaona took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eleuterio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 6th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Elliott Falcão sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. Angelo Grabiel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. The supporters of River de Ramos Mejía booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luca Rouco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Maureo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goal looked a bit too open when Luca Zorita came free, but Eleuterio Maureo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Elliott Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Gabriel-Omar Batistuta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Tafalla in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eleuterio Maureo saved River de Ramos Mejía from getting behind. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elliott Falcão in the 33rd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel-Omar Batistuta in the 38th minute of play. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Grabiel was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to River de Ramos Mejía getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Marcelo Arias hit a great ball. Joel Gaona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, River de Ramos Mejía's goalkeeper Eleuterio Maureo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Eleuterio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 63rd minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Maties came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Mexico's Joel Gaona ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eleuterio Maureo. Eleuterio Maureo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. River de Ramos Mejía made a substitution. Mathijs Van Herendael replaced Mădălin Holban. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elliott Falcão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of River de Ramos Mejía's Eleuterio Maureo. Eleuterio Maureo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eleuterio Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 81st minute of play. When Lautaro Mancebo came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Mancebo couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Maureo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Gabriel Eguntsenti put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Dante Lacasa. Eleuterio Maureo was a little too slow when Lautaro Mancebo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-3.
