Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Šedina started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boukjan Bunt in the 4th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's Erasmo Diegotxe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 8th minute of play. Erasmo Diegotxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 19th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Santa Viola in the 21st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boukjan Bunt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Peru's attack was well implemented in the 25th minute, but when Julian Murillo was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Šedina, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Erasmo Diegotxe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Robert Šedina took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Rolando Noboa to make any attempt to save it.

In the 53rd minute Boukjan Bunt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Diegotxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Peru booed when Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shi Yang Sha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute of the match, Milagros Fraga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erasmo Diegotxe was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Erasmo Diegotxe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santa Viola made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. 80 minutes into the match, Peru's Joaquin Prats sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Diegotxe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julian Murillo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Peru's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Šedina in the 83rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erasmo Diegotxe was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boukjan Bunt in the 86th minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Jan Fabian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potomci Dwayna Dibleyho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. In the 86th minute, Jan Fabian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. Jan Fabian kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Peru's Rafael Gallo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erasmo Diegotxe. Erasmo Diegotxe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boukjan Bunt in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
