In the 45th match minute, New Joinville - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xande Musiala to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xande Buffon having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lamine Xande to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, New Joinville - FSCMZ's Xandinho Kane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Cotilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Matthew Garrido kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xandinho Kane in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Lamine Xande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Joinville - FSCMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lamine Xande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. New Joinville - FSCMZ made a substitution. Emílio Martins replaced Durvalino Travassos. Lamine Xande scored 2-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcos Cotilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas De la Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 75 minutes Panama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jacob Santalla who took care of the corner kick. Xande Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abraham Alguacil in the 76th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xande Buffon having to make a save. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xandinho Kane in the 82nd minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xandinho Kane in the 87th minute of play. Xandinho Thuram hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jacob Santalla hit a great ball. The New Joinville - FSCMZ players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
