Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Adriano Imperatore started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 6th minute, Kuddusî Müftüoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adriano Imperatore. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ntinos Balouris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Costa Rica from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Costa Rica's Benito Sanz got control of the ball when Adriano Imperatore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliseo Noboa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mastur Bateman in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Tasis in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ntinos Balouris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kyriakos Lyberopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. In the 34th minute, INTERISTAS's Mastur Bateman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ntinos Balouris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Tasis, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Tasis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Kamer Işıner put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in INTERISTAS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a INTERISTAS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th match minute, INTERISTAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stamatis Dimitrakopoulos to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Puig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ntinos Balouris having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mastur Bateman, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 76th minute. Lautaro Puig's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ntinos Balouris read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Mastur Bateman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mastur Bateman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theofilos Karypidis in the 87th minute of the match. Eliseo Noboa charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Noboa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Eliseo Noboa hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mastur Bateman in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Aaron Alcocer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Costa Rica and the INTERISTAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Alcocer. 91 minutes into the match, Mastur Bateman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mastur Bateman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Axel Tasis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 99th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ntinos Balouris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. INTERISTAS had played much better football throughout.
