The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 8th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tristan Lannister in the 14th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristan Lannister got free with Rolando Noboa in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaw Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tristan Lannister got free with Rolando Noboa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute of the game Felix Blas made a throw-in which José Pedro Dracena played forward. 24 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Pedro Dracena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rolando Noboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Luz Tejedor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gustaw Nowak quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Gayoso in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Nowak saved Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 33rd minute of play forced Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goalkeeper Gustaw Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaw Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luz Tejedor in the 39th minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Milagros Fraga got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-2. 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Nowak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaw Nowak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 53rd minute Tristan Lannister shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Blas in the 62 minute of the game. In the 67th minute of the game Felix Blas made a throw-in which Zbyszek Le Bonniec played forward. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walery Bienienda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Pedro Dracena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Peru's Milagros Fraga managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Felix Blas in the 71 minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Dracena came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute of the match, Julian Murillo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustaw Nowak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gustaw Nowak made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Milagros Fraga sent off a good shot on target. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Gustaw Nowak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Pawel Drapinski was substituted for Wawrzyniec Domamir. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciccio Kowalczyk in the 88th minute. After taking down the ball on Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's corner Ciccio Kowalczyk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Antonio Tenorio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Tenorio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustaw Nowak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Peru supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peru would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
