Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Habil Castolo started the match with the kick off. After having played for 7 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Habil Castolo got free with Julio Vera in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when the xeneise dream team's Habil Castolo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 17th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ecuador's Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye the xeneise dream team's goalie prevented a goal. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by the xeneise dream team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Vinicio Aires despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 23rd minute of play forced the xeneise dream team's goalkeeper Vinicio Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Paolo Eutor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Aires having to interfere. Paolo Eutor struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for the xeneise dream team. In the 36th minute, Paolo Eutor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The the xeneise dream team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 39th minute, Gaspar Lizardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Habil Castolo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habil Castolo in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Vinicio Aires made a huge save. 54 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vinicio Aires. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. After some careless play in the the xeneise dream team defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Aires. The the xeneise dream team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Aires should have stopped the shot. Fryderyk Czerner kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Habil Castolo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zacharias Siatzis in the 78th minute of play. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Vinicio Aires made a huge save. In the 83rd minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. the xeneise dream team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Cristian Sancho could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Vinicio Aires however easily saved by the left post. Paolo Eutor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ecuador had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
