Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Habil Castolo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Zacharias Siatzis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Illescas to make the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habil Castolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zacharias Siatzis in the 56th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Venezuela booed when the xeneise dream team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Lizardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Habil Castolo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 75 minutes of play, the xeneise dream team's Paolo Eutor made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Eutor in the 79th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Eutor in the 82nd minute of play. Aquiles Mikolas scored 5-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Mikolas in the 93rd minute of play. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Genaro Farias ran over to the corner to take the kick. the xeneise dream team's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
