In a very dangerous position, a player in Głodne Ghule fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! Igor Sliwinski made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ryszard Kowalski immediately put the ball in play. In the 26th play minute Robby Lewandowski came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. 1-1. After 29 played minutes Głodne Ghule got a freekick which was hit by Igor Sliwinski. In the 31st minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robby Lewandowski in the 36th minute of the match. Daniel Wachna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Damian Maziarski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Głodne Ghule's Dida Nelson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Costa in the 42nd minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Maziarski in the 43rd minute of play. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeusz Kazimierz in the 45th minute of play. When Iwo Obuchowicz fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Głodne Ghule's protests and gave Iwo Obuchowicz a yellow card for diving instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Robby Lewandowski made the kick off in the second half. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dida Nelson having to interfere. Daniel Wachna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 56 minutes, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Illescas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dida Nelson was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 74th minute, Tomas Illescas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Głodne Ghule's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Dida Nelson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Głodne Ghule's zone, Tomas Illescas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Nelson came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rigoberto Mina kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Tadeusz Kazimierz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Tadeusz Kazimierz came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Głodne Ghule fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tadeusz Kazimierz couldn't finish the play. Venezuela played a much better game than Głodne Ghule and deserved their victory. The Głodne Ghule players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
