Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chen Ao Fan went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 6th minute of the match. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 10th minute of the match. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 11th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chen Ao Fan in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonathan Ferrant saved Venezuela from getting behind. Knut Rudberg kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 16th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chen Ao Fan in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skövde AIK the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Georg Norström got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 21st minute. The score was now 2-0. Thanks to some nice moves Kevin Keegan could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Jonathan Ferrant however easily saved by the left post. After 31 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. Kurt Hamrin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Camilo Gaos got a free kick in the 37th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Chen Ao Fan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Chen Ao Fan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kevin Keegan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 40th playminute. 44 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skövde AIK the free kick. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chen Ao Fan's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. When Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Ronnie Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan. But to his dismay, Kevin Keegan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Ronnie Hellström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute, Chen Ao Fan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skövde AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Kurt Hamrin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 68th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Kevin Keegan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonathan Ferrant quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute Kevin Keegan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Salvador Gisbert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's Kevin Keegan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Venegas charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Venegas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 78th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute Chen Ao Fan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chen Ao Fan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes of play Venezuela's Jose Correa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Jerry Williams made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0.
