Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Chile's Mariano Lacasa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mariano Lacasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Salvador Ortega having to make a save. After 4 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Andolín Echeandía could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. 8 minutes into the match, Mariano Lacasa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Salvador Ortega. Lautaro L.P.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Lacasa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Andolín Echeandía left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lautaro L.P. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Ortega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael made in the 31st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Fulco Urra immediately put the ball in play. In the 34th minute Orlando Casaus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gary Medel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Lautaro L.P.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Qi Jun Xiang in the 36th minute. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Salvador Ortega read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play.
Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulco Urra in the 51st minute of play. Chile's attentive Francisco Carballar managed to snatch the ball when Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulco Urra in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. In the 57th minute Lautaro L.P. were awarded a corner. Qi Jun Xiang went to the cornerflag to take it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andolín Echeandía in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Salvador Ortega made a huge save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulco Urra, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Salvador Ortega in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mariano Lacasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Salvador Ortega made a huge save. After 70 minutes, Mariano Lacasa made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Lautaro L.P.'s Salvador Ortega tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lautaro L.P.'s Leandro Marques was substituted for Reşit Beyan. 76 minutes into the game, Willem-Jan Van Hinnendael threw the ball into play from the sideline. Chile's Pedro Indiano quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After a rather tough play, Chile's Gerardo Pozo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Andolín Echeandía hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Salvador Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fulco Urra in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thiago Pliego saved Chile from getting behind. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fulco Urra's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 87th minute of play forced Lautaro L.P.'s goalkeeper Salvador Ortega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Marques in the 89th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Leandro Marques ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. With a little luck, Lautaro L.P.'s Salvador Ortega got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lautaro L.P. succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Chile had controlled the match.
