In the 7th play minute Marcos Lluis came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Filip Ivănescu. 1-0. The audience was convinced that Codruț Ababei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aprígio Montenegro was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 11th minute of the match Fălciu got a corner. CheR FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Babarada ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fălciu's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adam Babarada in the 13th minute. The corner led to Fălciu's Marian Pascaru getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Marcos Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot. CheR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Lluis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filip Ivănescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 20 minutes into the match, CheR FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dacian Mâinea came free, but Aprígio Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by CheR FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adam Babarada was slow to take the kick. During this time Fălciu's players had a chance to rest. Fălciu's Adam Babarada was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aprígio Montenegro in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aprígio Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Codruț Ababei in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu got control of the ball when Su Jun Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Babarada in the 31st minute of play forced CheR FC's goalkeeper Aprígio Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Fălciu from getting a goal against them. 35 minutes into the match, Marcos Lluis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filip Ivănescu. Fălciu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Lluis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Aprígio Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Comșa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, CheR FC's Marcos Lluis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filip Ivănescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 44th minute Codruț Ababei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aprígio Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Lluis to make the kick off. Filip Ivănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Lluis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aprígio Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Sabin Comșa sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the match, Sabin Comșa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aprígio Montenegro, 2-1. CheR FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
