Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Czeslaw Tipinski to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Czeslaw Tipinski in the 55th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brow Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Czeslaw Tipinski in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Tipinski in the 80th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Igor Siekierski. That made the score 1-5 after 82 minutes of play. Mariusz Mroczynski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Brow Team throughout the match.
