Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Colombia's Abram Sarmiento started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dennis Bergkamp's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Pedro Manzanares firmly grabbed it by the left post. 4 minutes into the game, Ettore Petroni recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pedro Manzanares. Ettore Petroni showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Colombia getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Samuel Navarro hit a great ball. Dennis Bergkamp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernst de Hoop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manfred Konradsson got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernst de Hoop having to make a save. Lemel SV's Ernst de Hoop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Seco in the 27th minute of play. Ernst de Hoop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Axel Montenegro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ernst de Hoop was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Samuel Navarro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manfred Konradsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernst de Hoop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ernst de Hoop having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Colombia's Axel Montenegro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ernst de Hoop. That made the score 2-1 after 66 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abram Secada in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernst de Hoop saved Lemel SV from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Colombia's Abram Secada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. In the 76th minute, João Augusto Mello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 78th minute of play forced Lemel SV's goalkeeper Ernst de Hoop to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bergkamp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Dennis Bergkamp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 88 minutes into the match, Lemel SV's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Ernst de Hoop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lemel SV had played much better football throughout.
