The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asier Canal during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Asier Canal kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Rodrigo Ramos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Villa, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Edmundo Espiga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Ramos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Moises Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rodrigo Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the game Bizen Vuelta made a throw-in which Asier Canal played forward. VALPICA C.F.'s Rodrigo Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Villa in the 25th minute of play. The throw-in from Bizen Vuelta in the 35th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Honduras's Luca Espinar. Rodrigo Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Villa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bizen Vuelta made in the 38th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Asier Canal immediately put the ball in play. 40 minutes into the game, VALPICA C.F.'s Tavio Rienda nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lautaro Navarro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Medero Nadal in the 46th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edmundo Espiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerico March kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Bizen Vuelta kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Christian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Rodrigo Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. Jerico March kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Edmundo Espiga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigo Ramos. VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Honduras booed when VALPICA C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Lastras didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Ramos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Villa in the 71st minute of play forced VALPICA C.F.'s goalkeeper Rodrigo Ramos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bizen Vuelta made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Asier Canal immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of VALPICA C.F. booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tavio Rienda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Honduras failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
