Beneficiente's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Fontirroig was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Lara Peñaranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Ferrant in the 11th minute of play. Lara Peñaranda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Ferrant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Joshua Miralles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carl Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Lara Peñaranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Beneficiente's Luís Guilherme Cunha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Camilo Freixa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 26 played minutes Beneficiente got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Aguiar. After 28 minutes, Luís Guilherme Cunha made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38thth minute of the game Luís Guilherme Cunha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bolivia's Camilo Freixa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goalkeeper Camilo Freixa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edgar Appel. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Bolivia from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luís Guilherme Cunha got free with Camilo Freixa in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 45th minute, Luís Guilherme Cunha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Camilo Freixa. The goal made the score 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Camilo Freixa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Cunha in the 55th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Bolivia defense, Luís Guilherme Cunha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Freixa. The Bolivia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Freixa should have stopped the shot. Sidney Carneiro's late challenge caught a Bolivia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidney Carneiro helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Beneficiente's Sidney Carneiro got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 66 minutes of play, Beneficiente's Luís Guilherme Cunha made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Camilo Freixa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bolivia were furious when Benito Madrid was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 72nd minute there was a penalty for Beneficiente. Edgar Appel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Camilo Freixa. 6-1. Laércio Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Camilo Freixa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgar Appel came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Beneficiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Appel couldn't finish the play. 82 minutes into the match, Bolivia's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Guilherme Cunha came free, but Camilo Freixa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Luís Guilherme Cunha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Camilo Freixa. Bolivia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Guilherme Cunha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. If Dida Senna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alejandro Villa hit a great ball. Beneficiente's Luís Guilherme Cunha got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Mario Fernandino fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Mario Fernandino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see Beneficiente's Edgar Appel in action when he in the 97th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Beneficiente fully deserved thier win.
