Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Esbjörn Fågel took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Ale Madrid's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jaime Cazalla was slow to take the kick. During this time Uruguay's players had a chance to rest. Esbjörn Fågel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. Seb Thackray's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquin Gayoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Seb Thackray managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Ale Madrid's supporters rose to their feet, but Seb Thackray was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joaquin Gayoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, one of Real Ale Madrid:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Ale Madrid. Anselmo Papo had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Jaime Cazalla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 18th minute of play forced Real Ale Madrid's goalkeeper Anselmo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Orson Mulford kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joaquin Gayoso. That made the score 1-0 in the 20 minute of play. Uruguay's attentive Arturo Carvallo managed to snatch the ball when Laurence Markham made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Real Ale Madrid's Anselmo Papo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Seco in the 26th minute of play. Jorge Sainz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jorge Sainz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 30 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Sainz. After a defensive mix-up in Uruguay's zone, Esbjörn Fågel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin Gayoso came out of the goal and Esbjörn Fågel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 42nd minute of play forced Real Ale Madrid's goalkeeper Anselmo Papo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francisco Seco in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anselmo Papo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Esbjörn Fågel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fernando Grealish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Seco was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Laurence Markham in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. In the 58th minute, Fernando Grealish got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorge Sainz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Orson Mulford took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 61st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Grealish in the 63rd minute of the match. 64 minutes into the match, Maximiliano Escribano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anselmo Papo. Real Ale Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiliano Escribano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bruno Beldad hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the match, Real Ale Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Seco came free, but Anselmo Papo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Seco struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Anselmo Papo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. If Fernando Grealish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Papo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Seco in the 82nd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Real Ale Madrid's goalkeeper Anselmo Papo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Seco in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anselmo Papo saved Real Ale Madrid from getting behind. Anselmo Papo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Grealish came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Seco got free with Anselmo Papo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Seb Thackray fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Gayoso having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Real Ale Madrid's Zachariasz Hoffman got a free kick in the 96th minute. Uruguay were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
