When Walter Giardino came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the tHe SOnS of rAGnar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Giardino couldn't finish the play. Walter Giardino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. José Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
51 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Alexandris came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With an all-out effort, Colombia's José Sá threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santino Seco, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 73 minutes into the game, Colombia's Kevin Mastache nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After 94 minutes tHe SOnS of rAGnar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kevin Mastache who took care of the corner kick. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Ignacio Mastache advanced and headed the ball into goal, 4-5 in the 94th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Colombia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
