Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute Holmkjar Hotspurs were awarded a corner. Konrad Reumert went to the cornerflag to take it. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Nordlet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 15th minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Makenhauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmkjar Hotspurs's Ove Makenhauer. But to his dismay, Ove Makenhauer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Montes kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 26th minute of play. In the 31st match minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Ørnholm to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 44th minute of play. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bent Streyder was the one to do the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Makenhauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Tristan Nordlet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Luis Andino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Kurd Frydenholt replaced Claes Katsir. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Molnit was substituted for Sigfrid Eildorf. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Magnus Steinwart was substituted for Bent Streyder. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ove Makenhauer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magnus Steinwart in the 77th minute of play. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elmar Lexbo in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Montenegro. After 86 minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. In the 88th minute Magnus Steinwart shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
