Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Elmar Lexbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tristan Nordlet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bent Streyder got free with Dante Lacasa in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goal looked a bit too open when Lautaro Mancebo came free, but Tristan Nordlet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18thth minute of the game Lautaro Mancebo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of the match. Tristan Nordlet came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joel Gaona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tristan Nordlet having to make a save. In the 29th minute, Elmar Lexbo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Holmkjar Hotspurs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 36th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Facundo Cadaval to maneuver through the defense. 40 minutes into the match, Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elmar Lexbo. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. Holger Ørnholm tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tristan Nordlet. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-2 in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute Bent Streyder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Mexico were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrid Eildorf in the 53rd minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Luca Rouco hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Tristan Nordlet in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Nordlet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Holmkjar Hotspurs made a substitution. Kurd Frydenholt replaced Claes Katsir. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kalle Molnit in the 78th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs got a freekick which was hit by Franck Lydicksen. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Lexbo in the 92nd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Magnus Steinwart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Lacasa was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. The Mexico supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mexico would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
