The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Lohitzun got free with Marcos Cotilla in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tomas Berganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manuel Lohitzun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Distribuidora 25 de mayo booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosendo Gustau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Berganza in the 24th minute of play. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 刘战翔 in the 74th minute of the match. Panama's Marcos Cotilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 刘战翔 in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute 刘战翔 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Dylan Sarmiento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Panama's Abraham Alguacil was responsible for 2-1 with a brilliant performance in the 92nd minute when he, by himself, got past the opponents defense and with a quick shot sent the ball into the goal to the left of Rosendo Gustau. An unexpectedly hard shot by 刘战翔 in the 96th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Distribuidora 25 de mayo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Panama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
