In the 11th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Utku Evvah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meriç Baytekin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. KOO Tigers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Halil Utku Evvah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Cristian Sancho scored 0-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Halil Utku Evvah, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when KOO Tigers's Lv Lei fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Halil Utku Evvah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 39th minute of play forced KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert got a free kick in the 45th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 47th minute of play forced KOO Tigers's goalkeeper Halil Utku Evvah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Han Si Lin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Luis Andino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Halil Utku Evvah. That made the score 0-2 in the 62 minute of play. Luis Andino charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Andino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 66 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. Halil Utku Evvah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 68th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lv Lei in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Halil Utku Evvah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, KOO Tigers's Halil Utku Evvah got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Han Si Lin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Halil Utku Evvah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 87th minute. After 94 played minutes KOO Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Ozan Candar. Cristian Sancho's late challenge caught a KOO Tigers's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than KOO Tigers.
