Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Onurhan in the 34th minute of play. Dolfo Burgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 36th minute of the match. The Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 0-1.

The audience was convinced that Joel Gaona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dolfo Burgo was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Dolfo Burgo made a huge save.
