In the 11th minute, Kjeld Hofgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulão Alfaks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Cotilla didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fellipe Botelho went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Alfaks having to interfere. The supporters of OSASCO FC booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, OSASCO FC's Fellipe Botelho ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Noel Pimenta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Fellipe Botelho sent off a good shot on target. Marcos Cotilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fellipe Botelho in the 58th minute of the match. Noel Pimenta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Berganza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulão Alfaks read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Panama's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Bertassi came free, but Marcos Cotilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored OSASCO FC's protests and gave Germano Bertassi a yellow card for diving instead. Panama's Aaron Barrios shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 93rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Paulão Alfaks but with some difficulty. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. OSASCO FC had won after a very even match.
