Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgardo Silva took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute Kevin Mastache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abram Sarmiento took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 12 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th match minute, New England Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Gang Cheng to maneuver through the defense. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgardo Silva in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pedro Manzanares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, New England Minas's Pedro Manzanares threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edgardo Silva, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pedro Manzanares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgardo Silva showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Jeremy Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Conklin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New England Minas. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abram Sarmiento to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Manzanares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 62 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Silva came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Jeremy Nicholas came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Abram Sarmiento. But to his dismay, Abram Sarmiento quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Alperen Öksüz. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. New England Minas made a substitution. Xiao Bang Kun replaced Jörgen Frohm. After 78 minutes of play, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! New England Minas made a substitution. Arturo Sito replaced Edgardo Silva. Jeremy Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Abram Secada sent off a good shot on target. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. The supporters of New England Minas booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Colombia players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for New England Minas.
