Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cristobal Fox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryce Ulrich's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cristobal Fox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the C. A. Independiente defense, Tomas Illescas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristobal Fox. The C. A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristobal Fox should have stopped the shot. Travis Cassidy hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roy Huston got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 minutes of play, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristobal Fox was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryce Ulrich in the 34th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Fox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Bryce Ulrich fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Travis Cassidy kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Cristobal Fox tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Brady Hooks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Independiente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brady Hooks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Independiente's goalkeeper Cristobal Fox, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Venezuela's Tomas Illescas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristobal Fox. That made the score 0-3 after 75 minutes of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bryce Ulrich in the 78th minute of play. Cristobal Fox was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tomas Illescas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 82 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Venezuela left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C. A. Independiente.
