The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Team Xtra personell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verner Näver didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Tomas Illescas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Eklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ludwig Fransson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nils Eklund. Jens Mikaelsson kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Illescas took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ludwig Fransson. Ludwig Fransson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Niclas Blom dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant, 1-1. If Morgan Martinsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karl-Oskar Odman fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Team Xtra personell's protests and gave Karl-Oskar Odman a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Karl-Oskar Odman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nils Eklund in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Tomas Illescas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Team Xtra personell players grew even worse after the yellow card. A sloppy throw-in by Karl-Oskar Odman in the 57th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Venezuela's Patricio Costa. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludwig Fransson having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Team Xtra personell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens Mikaelsson to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nils Eklund went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Niclas Blom's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Nils Eklund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Niclas Blom kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Niclas Blom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Team Xtra personell fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ludwig Fransson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niclas Blom, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ludwig Fransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Team Xtra personell's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
