In the 62nd minute José Pedro Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Noboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Wawrzyniec Domamir in the 63rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Alonso Berganza. Gustaw Nowak was left in no man's land by his defense there! Peru made a substitution. Eliseo Alcocer replaced Moises Gayoso. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Nowak having to interfere. Eliseo Mina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gustaw Nowak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Gallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafal Ludwiczak in the 98th minute of the match. Peru's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
