Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 4 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristo Elivareo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Barrialito AFC's Cristo Elivareo. Cristo Elivareo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 18th minute of play forced Barrialito AFC's goalkeeper Cristo Elivareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severino Gartxot charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Gartxot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 39 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Barrialito AFC's Hernan Socorro in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Barrialito AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hernan Socorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Juan Sebastián Puig managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Sebastián Puig was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Barrialito AFC's zone, Agustín Saelices stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Elivareo came out of the goal and Agustín Saelices tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute, Barrialito AFC's Joel Tiniebra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Joel Tiniebra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Barrialito AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Joel Tiniebra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Barrialito AFC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Joel Tiniebra hit a great ball. Cristo Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Torres. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Severino Gartxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Luis Andino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Elivareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristo Elivareo. Cristo Elivareo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Cristo Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Elivareo made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 92 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
