Vladimir Prestes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geovani Mendonça had several of the Colombia's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 9 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Pedro Manzanares as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tobias Otsoa hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani Mendonça in the 16th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Sarmiento in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Colombia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Axel Montenegro in the 21st minute. After taking down the ball on Colombia's corner Axel Montenegro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vladimir Prestes quite easily take care of the ball. Axel Montenegro succeeded in the game's 21st minute to get real power on a long shot . The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 2-1! In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Axel Montenegro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vladimir Prestes having to make a save. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Jacob Albuquerque kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. 42 minutes into the match, Axel Montenegro notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes. Vladimir Prestes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 47th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Mastache to maneuver through the defense.

Vladimir Prestes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 52nd minute of play. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoel Liñan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yoel Liñan took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-3. The Cavern Club's Vladimir Prestes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save The Cavern Club from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Colombia booed when The Cavern Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uğur Erçelik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uğur Erçelik to maneuver through the defense. Colombia's Ignacio Mastache was substituted for Abram Sarmiento. 75 minutes into the game, Colombia's Abram Secada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vladimir Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yoel Liñan in the 80th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When The Cavern Club's Geovani Mendonça, in the 83rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for The Cavern Club. Abram Secada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Prestes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Vladimir Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abram Secada. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abram Secada in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vladimir Prestes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
