The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Lacasa in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christophe Rau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 8th minute of play forced Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Christophe Rau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mark in the 15th minute of play. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christophe Rau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. Mariano Lacasa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christophe Rau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Felix Garrido hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute, Buğrahan Vecih made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Christophe Rau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 24th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Buğrahan Vecih made a precise shot to the right of Thiago Pliego. Chile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 29th minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christophe Rau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Talenti Roma Calcio's Christophe Rau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Mark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Christophe Rau. Talenti Roma Calcio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Thiago Pliego made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Buğrahan Vecih sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chile's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Lacasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christophe Rau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th minute, Chile's Mariano Lacasa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Christophe Rau in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 90 minutes, Mariano Lacasa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chile's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Lacasa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremias Mark recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
