In the 10th minute, Flóki Factor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. The goal made the score 1-0. With an all-out effort, Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Joaquin Gayoso threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Flóki Factor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flóki Factor might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flóki Factor ran back to his position shaking his head. 32 minutes into the game, Flóki Factor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Joaquin Gayoso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Flóki Factor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Joaquin Gayoso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Flóki Factor went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 53rd minute, Flóki Factor made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. 57 minutes into the game, Arturo Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s Luis Cristaldo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Flóki Factor might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Gayoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Flóki Factor ran back to his position shaking his head. 60 minutes into the match, Uruguay's goal looked a bit too open when Flóki Factor came free, but Joaquin Gayoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Flóki Factor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flóki Factor, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flóki Factor in the 83rd minute of play. Bruno Beldad's late challenge caught a Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Beldad helped the player get up and apologised. 89 minutes into the game, one of Uruguay:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Uruguay:s Joaquin Gayoso showed great skill when he stopped Flóki Factor:s penalty. In the 93rd minute, Flóki Factor made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. Uruguay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After having played for 96 minutes, Flóki Factor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ®'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Flóki Factor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ȼōŗỉȵᵺỉƛȵʂ Wƛŗŗỉōŗʂ® had won after a very even match.
