In the 16th minute Dalmacio Etxatxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jagger Kaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jagger Kaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 19th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Alberto Tafalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jagger Kaine was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Czempa in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 33rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Rodborough defense, Alberto Tafalla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jagger Kaine. The Rodborough fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jagger Kaine should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Czempa came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dalmacio Etxatxu got free with Dante Lacasa in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Eriz Gomara fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodborough's protests and gave Eriz Gomara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Rodborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriz Gomara to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 45 minutes, Facundo Cadaval managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Facundo Cadaval was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodborough's Jagger Kaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Gaona to strike the kick off in the second half. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mexico booed when Rodborough was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jagger Kaine. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Alves, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Jagger Kaine showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Zorita in the 89th minute of the match. After 96 minutes of play, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jagger Kaine was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
