Salvador Gisbert's late challenge caught a Fhury FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gisbert helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Nuno Madureira made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Bruno Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Venezuela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th match minute, Fhury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Rodrigues to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Nuno Madureira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fhury FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nuno Madureira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aloísio Barbosa in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Aloísio Barbosa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Aloísio Barbosa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Aloísio Barbosa tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 34th minute of play forced Fhury FC's goalkeeper Tiago Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Serafim Rebocho notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Nuno Madureira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Nuno Madureira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isac Tristão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonathan Ferrant was a little too slow when Aloísio Barbosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomas Illescas made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Fhury FC's Aloísio Barbosa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A well-hit corner resulted in Ivan Rodrigues heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Aloísio Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 59th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Venegas to maneuver through the defense. Serafim Rebocho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 60th minute, Camilo Gaos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the match Serafim Rebocho sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant skillfully saved the ball. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aloísio Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Barbosa struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fhury FC. The Fhury FC fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Fhury FC's Nuno Madureira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Barbosa in the 82nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomas Illescas got free with Tiago Rodrigues in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute Aloísio Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. António Rodrigues hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Fhury FC made a substitution. Vicente Candeias replaced Valter Bentes. António Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. The supporters of Fhury FC booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Venegas didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Barbosa in the 96th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fhury FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
