Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kraig Fred in the 4th minute of play. In the 6thth minute of the game Kraig Fred who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colombia's Pedro Manzanares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kraig Fred's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Manzanares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. Estudiantes de América's Diego Simeone quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joshua Garrido, made in the 9th minute of the game. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred. But to his dismay, Kraig Fred quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 15th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Kraig Fred reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 21st minute, Kraig Fred made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Colombia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santino Seco in the 28th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Kraig Fred shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Ranolfo came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Colombia's Axel Montenegro. But to his dismay, Axel Montenegro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Kraig Fred charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kraig Fred the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Estudiantes de América getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Kraig Fred hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Abram Sarmiento made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Ranolfo. Estudiantes de América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
The wind increased when Kraig Fred made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kraig Fred in the 53rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximo Dei kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 61 played minutes Estudiantes de América got a freekick which was hit by Diego Simeone. Colombia's Kevin Mastache quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kert Roolaid, made in the 65th minute of the game. Marcos Ranolfo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Concetto Trasatti recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. In the 74th minute, Ignacio Mastache left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colombia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Concetto Trasatti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Marcos Ranolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Mastache in the 83rd minute of the match. Marcos Ranolfo was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Ignacio Mastache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ignacio Mastache really showed his touch with that goal: 4-4. Colombia's Kevin Mastache managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Kert Roolaid in the 88 minute of the game. Marcos Ranolfo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ignacio Mastache's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Estudiantes de América's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kevin Mastache took the corner. The corner led to Colombia's Abram Secada getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Santino Seco came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Traian Blăniță, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
