Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Anton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 9 played minutes Tineretul Arad got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Guimarães. Leontin Vârșan came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacobo Nores could save by the left post. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Panait Hațegan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. Denis Talianu hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Tineretul Arad's Panait Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 17th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Tineretul Arad's Leontin Vârșan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jacobo Nores. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Hector Covarrubias charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Covarrubias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hector Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 33rdth minute of the game Emilian Blăniță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Paraguay's Jacobo Nores was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Paraguay's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leontin Vârșan fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jaime Pardo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panait Hațegan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Hector Covarrubias took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Panait Hațegan. Panait Hațegan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Panait Hațegan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jaime Pardo's shot from short distance in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Pardo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Jaime Pardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Panait Hațegan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaime Pardo in the 55th minute. After 62 minutes, Leontin Vârșan made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Paraguay's Jacobo Nores tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Paraguay's Jaime Pardo got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Pardos short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Panait Hațegan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 77 played minutes Paraguay got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Pardo. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leontin Vârșan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Graur kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Jaime Pardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paraguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Pardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tineretul Arad's Panait Hațegan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 84th minute of play. Răzvan Păunescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leontin Vârșan in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Nores saved Paraguay from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paraguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tineretul Arad.
