The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the game, Davi Gerber was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JURIDIQUES F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Venezuela the free kick. After taking down the ball on Venezuela's corner Camilo Gaos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dráuzio Abraão quite easily take care of the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Germano Rebelo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. JURIDIQUES F.C's Thomás Vianna quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Guillermo Mariano, made in the 12th minute of the game. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Germano Rebelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. JURIDIQUES F.C's Dráuzio Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 17th minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patricio Costa's late challenge caught a JURIDIQUES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patricio Costa helped the player get up and apologised. Patricio Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Germano Rebelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 27 minutes in the game Luciano Coutinho did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Germano Rebelo. Tomas Illescas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dráuzio Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31st play minutes Germano Rebelo shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Jonathan Ferrant and just under the crossbar into goal. Venezuela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carl-Chester Derby charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl-Chester Derby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th minute of the game Luciano Coutinho made a throw-in which José Maria Batista played forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Dráuzio Abraão didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 55th minute, Germano Rebelo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JURIDIQUES F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When Germano Rebelo came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the JURIDIQUES F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Rebelo couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 73rd minute of play forced JURIDIQUES F.C's goalkeeper Dráuzio Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
