Dráuzio Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 21st minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dráuzio Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After taking down the ball on JURIDIQUES F.C's corner Thomás Vianna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Julio Vera quite easily take care of the ball. In the 34th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Abraão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Germano Rebelo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germano Rebelo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Felix Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dráuzio Abraão read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Carl-Chester Derby hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the JURIDIQUES F.C defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráuzio Abraão. The JURIDIQUES F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráuzio Abraão should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Germano Rebelo to strike the kick off in the second half. Carl-Chester Derby charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl-Chester Derby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, JURIDIQUES F.C's Carl-Chester Derby got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, JURIDIQUES F.C's Dráuzio Abraão got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind JURIDIQUES F.C's goalkeeper Dráuzio Abraão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Germano Rebelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Abraão having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, JURIDIQUES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl-Chester Derby to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Luis Andino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 84th minute, Germano Rebelo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Abraão having to interfere. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Germano Rebelo in the 88th minute of play. Marco Teles hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dráuzio Abraão. That made the score 2-3 in the 95 minute of play. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JURIDIQUES F.C throughout the match.
